Candidate Process

Step 1: Fill out application (s)

We encourage our candidates to submit an application for EACH placement role in which they feel qualified -- i.e. if a candidate believes they would be suitable for more than one of the placements we offer, submitting a separate application for each role is required. Please refer to the top of the application forms for all the neccesary information.

Step 2: Reference Check

Once accepted into our agency, we review your online presence to ensure a professional platform as well as contact references. Should your application not be accepted, you will receive an email outlining the reasons for this decision.

Step 3: Microsoft Teams Interview

We will email our candidates a link to schedule a 30 minute phone call to A). review your application and related background B). discuss the next steps moving forward.

Step 4: Prospects

After the interview, we will contact your references. If the conversations are successful, we will invite you to apply to open positions on our job board.

Step 5: Interview(s) with Prospective Families

Families receive the resume for each prospective client that is interested in their job post. Should a family want to connect with you, they will contact us to set up a meeting with you. Kindly note that your ability to connect with families is dependent upon a successful background check. We highly recommend at least a 2 day trial following an in person interview/ meet and greet with the family to ensure it is a fit for both parties.

Step 6: Final Phase

Following a trial, families will notify us whether they would like to offer the candidate the position or continue with the search. If an offer is made, the candidate and family will create a contract mutually sustainable. Although we are not a party to this contract, our role as the agent is to provide industry standard insights to guide realistic expectations and ensure that the terms are fair and respectful.
